Jackson Care Connect and Medford School district host Healthy Start Block Party

To help support children and families’ health, Jackson Care Connect and Medford School District area hosting a fun back-to-school event for the whole community.

Healthy Start Block Party
Wednesday, August 17, 3-7 p.m.
Jackson Elementary, 713 Summit Ave., Medford
Free and open to the community

The event includes free healthy activities including**:

  • Childhood immunizations and COVID immunizations
  • Well-child checks
  • Sports physicals
  • Dental assessments and fluoride varnishes
  • Kids' haircuts (or vouchers) 

Plus fun for the whole family including**:

  • Free food from local food trucks
  • Games and giveaways
  • Face paining
  • School supplies and more 

**Available on a first-come, first-served basis. JCC members get all screenings at no cost. A limited amount of food boxes will be available for those who complete vaccine education. 

A big thank you to our partners at the Oregon Health Authority, Asante, Jackson County Public Health, La Clinica, Providence Medical Group and Rogue Community Health for participating in this event, along with many community organizations.
