Changes to Foodsmart
Beginning October 1, 2025, access to Foodsmart will be limited to certain members who qualify for Health Related Social Needs (HRSN) nutrition benefits. This change helps us focus resources on members with the highest level of need.
What you need to know
- New referrals to Foodsmart are no longer accepted as of July 1, 2025.
- Currently enrolled members can continue using Foodsmart through September 30, 2025.
- Members’ unused Foodsmart Bucks remain valid for 12 months after they are issued.
- Members with digital platform access can continue to use it for 12 months from their sign-up date (e.g., if they signed up April 1, 2025, they’ll have access until March 31, 2026).
- For additional nutrition support, check the Jackson Care Connect Provider Directory or call Jackson Care Connect Customer Service.
- To find Registered Dietitians using the Provider Directory:
