CareOregon adopts new prior authorization vendor for certain services
This is a reminder that CareOregon is adopting a new platform for prior authorizations for certain services for Jackson Care Connect, CareOregon/Health Share, Columbia Pacific CCO, and CareOregon Advantage effective May 1, 2026.
HealthHelp is a specialty benefit management company that is now working with CareOregon to administer prior authorizations for the following:
- Cardiac Services (Imaging, Devices, Interventional)
- Diagnostic Imaging
- MSK / Interventional Pain / Physical Medicines
- Sleep Medicine
- Genetic Testing
All prior authorizations for the above services will be submitted through the HealthHelp portal beginning May 1, 2026. You can view the list of specific codes here. Codes not listed here should still be submitted through Connect.
Submission process updates
The prior authorization process through HealthHelp follows a specific process for submission. This process is different than how codes are submitted in Connect, so we encourage you to read the documentation on the HealthHelp website in depth. Specifically, please view the documents under the ‘Helpful Documents’ section to learn more about bundled codes.

The HealthHelp portal can be accessed through OneHealthPort. If you do not have an account with OneHealthPort, you need to create one prior to May 1, 2026 in order to use the HealthHelp portal.
HealthHelp is hosting webinars between April 27-30, 2026 to educate providers on how to use the platform. You can find information on the sessions and register here.
In addition to attending webinars and locating FAQs, you can also check the status of recent authorization requests using this link: www.healthhelp.com/CAREOR.
